Capturing Hearts and Encouraging People
Pamela Gilchrist Corson - Author and Speaker

After 20 years of telling other people's stories, it's time to share her own. Pamela Gilchrist connects with audiences through relevant, purpose-driven stories from her own life. Sometimes painful and sometimes hilariously funny, Pam's Parables capture hearts and encourage people to build stronger relationships with God and each other.

You can count on wit, wisdom and a winning attitude when Pam speaks. Audiences have described her as "Delightful, gifted and vibrant." Every day Pam faces the challenge of severe chronic pain in her muscles and soft tissue. During the past 10 years, her personal journey has gone from busy executive, to wheelchair, to finally walking down the aisle...all of which dramatically deepened her faith.

Author

Pam's writing is featured in the #1 New York Times Best Selling Series Chicken Soup for the Soul: "Life Lessons for Women: 7 Essential Ingredients for a Balanced Life." Her contribution, "Ties That Bind," was selected from more than 3,000 stories worldwide by co-authors Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. Her true, personal, story is about a super-woman trying to "do it all" to prepare for her wedding -- and the intuition of female friends who knew she needed help. In addition to her contribution in Chicken Soup for the Soul's, Life Lessons for Women, Gilchrist Corson is working on her own book: Buckle-Up...Life's a Bumpy Ride!, a survival guide for women. She has been published in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Kalamazoo Gazette and a variety of magazines and newsletters.

Communications Coach and Teacher

Not only is Pam a polished speaker and writer, she is well known for her sound communications strategies and expertise. In her career, she has coached nine CEOs, more than 100 executives and landed publicity for her clients in major publications including the Wall Street Journal. She is founder and president of PR~Link Public Relations, a marketing & communications firm offering consulting services as well as a variety of workshops such as "How To Meet The Press Without Having A Maalox® Moment."

Every week she helps writers craft their stories by teaching Feature Writing For Publication at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also is available to present these winning techniques at writers' conferences. Pam holds a master's degree in journalism from Ohio State University, is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and is also a certified personality type trainer. In 2002 she became a CLASS Services graduate and in 2003 attended the CLASS Career Coaching Conference and CBA EXPO.

Musician

A singer/songwriter and jazz pianist, Pam has been on stage since age seven, performing in front of thousands in show choirs, musical theatre and Broadway reviews. Recently, she was particularly touched to be part of the 2002 Billy Graham Mass Choir. She also enjoys being part of her church's worship team where she sings and plays keyboards. Pam and her husband, Glenn Corson, have been married since 1998 and live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
